Schollevaar is a salon boat built in 1912 and relaunched in 2019 as a fully electric canal cruiser. She is 11.3 metres long, with teak decking, white leather couches, an open seating area outside, an indoor saloon with an open-air sun roof, a self-service bar and a toilet.
This is a private charter of Schollevaar during the 15th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival, from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. The artworks are lit every evening from 16:30 to 23:00 (until 21:00 on 31 December). The boat takes up to 8 guests and leaves from Keizersgracht 106. Stay in the heated saloon when it is cold, or step out on the open deck for an unobstructed view of the artworks.
The cruise is in English or Dutch. Please be at the dock 5 minutes before departure. The Pure Boats office at Keizersgracht 92H is close to the dock. Pets are welcome on private cruises. Bring something for your pet to sit on. Drinks are not part of the boat price. When you book you can add an open bar, champagne or catering. Order brunch, lunch or dinner at least 24 to 48 hours before departure.
These are the Pure Boats terms for private cruises. If you cancel up to 4 weeks before departure, 10% of the total price is charged. From 4 to 2 weeks before it is 25%, from 2 to 1 week before 50%, from 7 to 2 days before 75%, and within 48 hours the full price. You can change the date for free if the new cruise date is at least 2 weeks after you ask. Between 2 weeks and 48 hours before departure, changing the date costs EUR 100. “What a fantastic afternoon on the Danique! We live in Amsterdam ourselves, so you’d think we’ve seen the canals by now… but apparently not like this 😄 We had such a fun mix of Londoners and Americans on board, amazing weather, seriously good drinks and delicious sharing platters. But the absolute star of the tour was our skipper Floris — he was BRILLIANT! He seems to know absolutely everything about Amsterdam, including all the weird, funny little details you never hear about. And while casually telling us all these stories, he was navigating the Danique through the canals — half the time backwards — as if it was the easiest thing in the world 😂 Great atmosphere, great boat, great food & drinks and an even better skipper. Even as Amsterdammers, we absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!”
