Have a private two-course dinner on Leaudine while you cruise the 15th Amsterdam Light Festival. The cruise takes two hours and leaves from the H'ART Museum dock on the Amstel. The route runs along the Amstel, Nieuwe Herengracht, Oosterdok and Oude Schans, and back to the Amstel.
Leaudine is a salon boat from the 1930s, recently fully renovated. Inside are wood panelling, bohemian cushions, warm lighting and a large dining table. The interior is heated. There is a private bathroom on board and an open aft deck.
How dinner works
During the cruise your skipper docks for a moment to collect a freshly prepared dinner from a top-rated restaurant on the Prinsengracht. It has a main course and a dessert, with seasonal Dutch and European dishes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free requests can be arranged if you tell the operator before your cruise. Then you carry on along the festival route while you eat.
Main courses on the festival menu are teriyaki salmon (a vegan option is available), steak Bordelaise, risotto al crescione and mushroom Bourguignon en croute. For dessert you choose a lemon meringue tartlet with dark chocolate mousse or a cheese selection. Prefer to skip dinner? You can cruise with drinks only.
Drinks
Dinner is booked with the cruise. You can also add drinks, such as wine, prosecco or a warm drink, or cruise with drinks only. Ask the operator for the current drinks list.
