Each winter, Amsterdam's canals become an open-air gallery of light installations, and this small amsterdam canal cruise puts you right in the middle of it. The Luxury Small Group Amsterdam Light Festival Cruise takes a maximum of twelve guests along the festival route aboard Daupnie, a restored salon boat built in 1910. You'll drift past the artworks at water level, close enough to catch the reflections shifting on the surface, while the city's canal houses and bridges glow in the dark behind them.
Daupnie's covered salon is heated, which matters in December and January. The boat runs fully electric, so there's no engine noise to compete with conversation or the quiet of a winter evening on the water. Over ninety minutes, you'll see the festival's route unfold without the crowds that gather along the bridges and quaysides. It's a slower, warmer way to take it in.
An open bar is included for the duration, along with a selection of snacks. You won't need to flag anyone down or settle a tab at the end. Free cancellation applies up to seven days before departure, which takes some of the guesswork out of booking around winter weather. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before departure are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of departure, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable. The full booking amount will be charged.
The cancellation policy also applies to any pre-booked add-ons, food, drinks or packages included in the reservation.

In the unlikely event that Lamardri Boat Cruises has to cancel a cruise due to unsafe weather conditions, technical issues or other circumstances that prevent us from operating the cruise safely, guests will be offered the option to reschedule their cruise or receive a full refund.
