This is a shared two-hour cruise along the Amsterdam Light Festival. Pure Boats is an official partner of the festival. The 15th edition runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027, and the artworks are lit every evening from 16:30 to 23:00 (until 21:00 on 31 December). The two-hour trip takes a longer route than the 90-minute cruises.
The bar is open for the whole cruise, with beer, wine, soft drinks and warm mulled wine. A captain or host tells you about the artworks and about Amsterdam as you pass them. At most 16 guests sail together. All Pure Boats boats are heated and can be fully closed, and there are blankets on board.
Pure Boats names Danique and Pure Spirit for this cruise. It picks the boat on the day, depending on group size, weather and availability, and may use any boat in its fleet of six. You cannot choose the boat when you book. Pure Spirit has a toilet on board.
This cruise is for guests aged 14 and up and runs in English. Single tickets are for parties of up to 6 guests. Be at the wooden dock next to Keizersgracht 106 ten minutes before departure. The boat cannot wait for latecomers. The Pure Boats office at Keizersgracht 92H is close to the dock and has toilets. Pets and smoking are not allowed on this cruise. You can cancel for free up to 48 hours before departure.

“What a fantastic afternoon on the Danique! We live in Amsterdam ourselves, so you’d think we’ve seen the canals by now… but apparently not like this 😄 We had such a fun mix of Londoners and Americans on board, amazing weather, seriously good drinks and delicious sharing platters. But the absolute star of the tour was our skipper Floris — he was BRILLIANT! He seems to know absolutely everything about Amsterdam, including all the weird, funny little details you never hear about. And while casually telling us all these stories, he was navigating the Danique through the canals — half the time backwards — as if it was the easiest thing in the world 😂 Great atmosphere, great boat, great food & drinks and an even better skipper. Even as Amsterdammers, we absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!”
