This 90-minute cruise follows the Amsterdam Light Festival on Stan Huygens, once the private boat of Freddy Heineken. It is the 15th edition, from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027, and the artworks are lit every evening from 16:30 to 23:00 (until 21:00 on 31 December). A captain or host tells you about the artworks and about Amsterdam as you pass them.
You can buy single tickets and sit with other guests, or book a private booth for up to 5 guests or a premium booth for up to 7. Up to 24 guests sail on each departure. Single tickets are for groups of up to 5 guests. Larger groups book a booth.
The open bar serves beer, wine, soft drinks and warm mulled wine, and nibbles come with it. Champagne is available as an extra. The boat is heated and has a toilet on board.
Single tickets are fully refunded if you cancel at least 48 hours before departure. For booths, the Pure Boats terms for booths in the semi-private experience apply: 100% back from one week before, 50% from 3 to 6 days before, 25% from 2 to 3 days before, and nothing under 48 hours. The tour is in English. This cruise is for guests aged 14 and up. It leaves from the dock in front of the H'ART Museum, Amstel 51. Be there 5 minutes before departure. The boat cannot wait for latecomers.

“What a fantastic afternoon on the Danique! We live in Amsterdam ourselves, so you’d think we’ve seen the canals by now… but apparently not like this 😄 We had such a fun mix of Londoners and Americans on board, amazing weather, seriously good drinks and delicious sharing platters. But the absolute star of the tour was our skipper Floris — he was BRILLIANT! He seems to know absolutely everything about Amsterdam, including all the weird, funny little details you never hear about. And while casually telling us all these stories, he was navigating the Danique through the canals — half the time backwards — as if it was the easiest thing in the world 😂 Great atmosphere, great boat, great food & drinks and an even better skipper. Even as Amsterdammers, we absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!”
